1. Personal training with us is like being shipped off to a
three-month L.A. reality TV show ... except you don't have to give
up your job or your life.
Those weight loss reality TV shows are fun to watch for sure, but don't be fooled by
them. You don't have to remove yourself from your environment to lose weight or get
fit. You can have those same results by incorporating some big changes into your
life, and our personal training helps you do exactly that. We work around your life -
your kids, your career and everything else that's gotten in the way of you being the
best version of yourself. You can come to us or we can come to you. It's your choice.

2. We will push you harder than you would ever push yourself.
How many times have you gone to the gym with good intentions and started lifting
weights, only to give up at rep 6 (when you know you could have done at least 10
reps)?

It's not that you can't work out on your own. It's that you're more than likely not going
to do the workout on your own with the same intensity that you will with a trainer by
your side. A certified trainer is your partner.


















3. We are experts at food and fitness...specifically, we're
experts at knowing how to help you alter your diet so you enjoy
what you eat AND see results fast.
20% of fat loss is exercise. 80% is what you put in your mouth. That's huge! Can you
see that if all you did was get your food right, you'd be 80% of the way to your goal?
THAT is why we spend so much time on it. And frankly, it's why we decided to
become experts at it. By working with us, you don't have to read all the boring
science books we read. Just show up and we'll do the rest.

4. If you work out on your own and keep eating the way you are
eating now, you can potentially do damage to your body...and not
even know it.
We're not trying to scare you, but it's actually true. There's a TON of misinformation
published on what to eat and when to eat it. What you may not know is that many of
those recommendations are written for people who sit at a desk all day (followed by
sitting on the couch all night). In other words, they are written for sedentary people.

Once you begin working out, everything in your body changes. That is why it's so
important to get expert advice on your food. You know all those folks who make New
Year's resolutions to get fit? You can be sure that more than half of them quit
because their diet is not compatible with their training. They're exhausted and
drained before and/or after working out. Even worse, they're walking around hungry!
It's no wonder they quit. When you train with us, we can guarantee you won't ever
quit because of these common circumstances.

5. We aren't "clock in/clock out" personal trainers.
Maybe you've trained privately before and maybe not. Either way, we suspect you've
seen what goes on at many commercial gyms. We sure have. Not all trainers are
created equal. Putting it bluntly, we're not going to put you on a machine and leave
you there to exercise by yourself while we go bench press 250 pounds. We don't mix
our workout with your workout. When you work with us, our time belongs to you and
you'll get 100 percent of our attention and effort. All we ask for in return is the same
from you!

6. We don't do "one-size-fits-all" programs. That goes for both
your food and your workouts.
Whatever you've been made to believe, there is no one food or fitness program that
works for every single person. This is probably the biggest difference between
personal training and training on your own. We know there are a million workouts
on the Internet, and plenty of diets! The question to ask yourself ... which workout
and which diet is right for me? Our bodies are not the same from one person to
another, and it's not just the difference between being male or female. We know
what questions to ask and what tests to run to determine what works best for you.
That's what personal training is all about!

7. We have a "No Repeat Workouts" policy here!
What does that mean? It's simple...you'll never repeat a workout with us. Not ever.
Did you know your body adapts to exercise? If you keep doing the same exercises
over and over, your body will adapt and find ways of doing them more easily...which
means slower results for you. And here's the best part of "No Repeat Workouts"...if
the workout really kicks your butt, you can leave your session knowing you never
have to do that workout again!

8. We won't yell at you, and we will hold you accountable when
you feel like giving up.
Ever wonder why the gyms are full the first week of January and empty the second
week of February? It's no surprise really. People give up. Thousands of dollars a
year are wasted on gym memberships that began in January and were never used
again. You don't have to be part of that statistic.

Training with us gives you an edge. When everyone else quits, you stay the course
because you have a partner in fitness. Your friends will let you off the hook. We won't

We won't hard sell you. We hate that
approach. You're either going to do this or
not. We're good either way. We'll be excited
for YOU if you decide to move forward, and
we won't make you feel bad if you decide not
to. The choice is always yours.

We'll give you options if personal training
isn't "it" for you right now. The good news is
that we offer lots of options here. Again,
there is no "one size fits all".
